around my site. My name is Maureen Harding, I am the owner and

designer of Flo Totes - A Choice of Colour.

I offer one of a kind decorative items for the home or office. My pieces

may be used as throws, wall hangings, etc. You may even frame

them if you like. As you browse my site you will see many bright,

vibrant and exhilarating colours. This is a result of a West Indian

heritage which transfers into my creations. I am sure you will find

For those of you that may not be familiar, Trinidad and Tobago are the last two islands in the Caribbean right off the coast of Venezuela.  As part of my family tradition my siblings and I were all tought by my mother to sew. Even my brothers had to learn to sew. As with many things our parents teach us I put away my sewing kit for many years. In recent years, however, I rediscovered my passion for sewing. In short, life reminded me that I love to sew and create in fabric. I work with wonderfully colourful patterns and vivid solids. I use fabrics that are traditional, cotton, wool and canvas, but also use exotic handmade fabrics like mudcloth.
